Hi, I’m Jonny, the founder, maker, and storyteller behind Sable & Flame Candle Co.
After years in the corporate world, I realised I wanted something more grounded. More creative. More me. Discovering candle-making was a turning point: a craft that blended intention, artistry, and presence in a way nothing else had.
Every Sable & Flame piece is made by my hands. From blending each fragrance to pouring the wax, trimming wooden wicks, choosing wax melt botanicals, designing the labels, and shaping the story behind every collection.
There’s no team or production line. Just patience, discipline, and the desire to create something meaningful from scratch.
In a world that rarely slows down, crafting became my place to breathe, and a way to create something magical.
I work in small batches using high-quality soy wax and wooden wicks chosen for their soft, soothing crackle. Each wax melt is then infused with botanicals selected for their symbolism, pairing with the emotion of its collection to deepen the ritual.
Every fragrance in Sable & Flame unfolds as a story. Rooted in the lore of the Sable Willow and created to bring warmth, presence, and intention to your space. A moment of sanctuary. A spark of joy. A quiet indulgence.
